Guyliner
Guyliner is simply eyeliner sold to or used by males. The word is a mix of “guy” and “eyeliner.” Usually following the lash lines, eyeliner is a cosmetic item used to define the eyes by creating lines around them.
There are several guyliners:
Easy to use and ideal for beginners is pencil guyliner. It looks softer and can be smudged for a smokey impression.
Liquid guyliner draws exact, crisp lines. For dramatic looks, it’s fantastic; but, it calls for a consistent hand.
Applied with a brush, gel guyliner is housed in a pot. It lasts long and can produce both thin and thick lines.
From rock stars to ancient Egyptians, men have been sporting eyeliner for millennia. It’s gotten more popular recently as many guys use it to accentuate their eyes or convey their style. Guyliner has applications in:
Create more defined or larger appearing eyes.
Make a strong, edgy impression.
Change the color of your eyes.
Accompany other cosmetics or wardrobe selections.
Techniques of application differ. While some guys go for a more dramatic style with thicker lines or winged tips, others would want a discreet look with a thin line along the upper lash line. One can treat upper and lower lash lines with guyliner.
Think about skin type, intended look, and occasion when selecting guyliner. While softer pencils are simpler to mix for a smokey look, waterproof formulations are excellent for long-lasting usage.
Recall—with guyliner, practice makes perfect. Although many men find it a great approach to express themselves and improve their appearance, learning application takes some time.
